Knox Auto Parts is proud to announce a labor warranty that really covers you and your time plus gives you a selling point with your customer. With a 6 or 12-month parts and labor warranty available, we are sure to have the right warranty for your job and your customer's budget.

These days labor can be very costly and no longer will you have to risk that cost. If an unfortunate failure of our part occurs, Knox Auto Parts will replace the part and pay the labor (according to Mitchell flat rate) at $45 per hour. It's that simple!

Knox Auto Parts limited parts and labor Warranty

All mechanical parts purchased from Knox Auto Parts are used. The warranty period applicable to your purchase is noted on the invoice and will end after the expiration of time from the date of the original invoice. If not noted on invoice the standard warranty is 6 months parts only. Knox Auto Parts will pay labor at a rate of $45.00 per hour according to "Mitchell" flat rate. All replacements and repairs must be approved by Knox Auto Parts before any work is done, failure to do so will result in voiding the warranty. Warranties are extended to whoever should own the vehicle within the warranty period, provided all paperwork is presented with warranty claim, and cover replacement repair or refund (our choice), total not to exceed purchase price. Any repairs or replacement will not extend the warranty.

Regarding engines, accessories such as alternators, starters, water pump, intake and exhaust manifolds, fuel injectors, carburetor, flywheel, brackets, oil pressure switches, thermostats, smog emission devises, and timing belts are complimentary and do not necessarily come with the engine. These parts are also not covered under the Knox Auto Parts limited warranty, and we do not guarantee interchangeability of these items. At the time of installation, and in order to maintain coverage under the warranty, it is required that the installer

1) install a new thermostat
2) change oil and filter prior to starting
3) replace timing belt
4) flush and check radiator flow
5) install new oil seals and gaskets where necessary (oil leaks are not covered under warranty)
6) keep invoices for the parts purchased
7) retain all service and maintenance records

Regarding transmissions, it is required that the installer
1) replace all external seals
2) replace filter and fluid
3) flush transmission cooling system including lines and cooler
4) properly seat torque converter on an automatic transmission

Regarding air conditioning compressors, it is required that
1) A new receiver dryer and orifice are installed (an invoice for these parts are required for warranty coverage).

Buyer agrees that Knox Auto Parts will not be responsible for (1) incidental or consequential damage. (2) Lost profits, sales or income. (3) Injury to person or property. (4) Oil, antifreeze, or other substances. (4) Towing charges, storage fees, substitute transportation, lodging etc. (5) labor on a gasket kit, oil pump, or other accessories purchased with the engine.

Return Policy

No part shall be returned until the initial salesperson has authorized the return. All parts returned must include all external accessories and components assembled back to their original condition unless otherwise authorized by Knox Auto Parts.
